What’s happening in July

4 Bellgrass: A food, wine, brew and music festival. Whatcom Hospice Foundation is sponsoring the fourth annual Bellgrass festival on July 4, from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Whatcom Hospice partners with Hoagland Pharmacy, the Port of Bellingham and Bellwether Business Association to raise money to care for hospice patients who have less than six months to live.
With a lineup of music that includes Howlin’ Wood, Walrus and The Chryslers, organizers hope to top last year’s attendance of more than 7,000 and donations of more than $57,000.

8 Bellingham Chamber of Commerce Networking Breakfast: A networking breakfast at Northwood Hall 3240 Northwest Ave. from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

14 Mount Vernon Chamber of Commerce “After Hour”: A chance to network after business hours. The Chamber “After Hour” will take place at Chinook Enterprises 2026 LaVenture Rd. from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
18 Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce: The chamber meets from noon to 1 p.m. at Stephani’s Restaurant 7878 Birch Bay Drive. Lunch is served at 11:30 and most meetings include a guest speaker.
