12 Tutor Orientation. Whatcom Literacy Council hosts volunteer tutor orientation for people interested in helping an adult learn to read and write or use English as a second language. Tutors should be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma. The event begins at 7 p.m. at Bellingham Technical College.
